An experienced dermatologist, Dr. Chung’s top priority is to provide safe and effective treatment from the perspective of her patients. With over 20 years of continuous effort and a focus on always considering the needs of her patients first, she has built a strong foundation and achieved a high reputation in the field.
Excelling in private practice since 2004, she is the owner of the PureSkin Dermatology Clinic, which specializes in providing one-stop dermatological treatments that aim to make it seem as if no treatment was ever performed. This is reflected in her motto, “everyone will notice, but no one will know.”
A native of South Korea, Dr. Chung graduated with her medical degree, Doctor of Philosophy degree, and two master’s degrees from Yonsei University College of Medicine. She then went on to do postdoctoral research at the University of California San Francisco before returning to South Korea to take on various dermatological roles.
With a passion for dermatological clinical research, Dr. Chung currently serves as a Clinical Research Professional in Boston Clinical Trials and participates actively in Global Clinical Research Course at Harvard Postgraduate Medical Program as opportunities for this type of work are limited in South Korea.
Among her professional affiliations, she is an active member of the Korean Dermatology Society and the American Academy of Dermatology.
